Kidigit.com launched!
Today is a great day!
We, at Kidigit.com, have finally managed to take out enough time from playing games for hours our busy schedules to launch Kidigit.com. Welcome, and we hope that you will stay and play with us.
Our generation is a unique one (like all generations). We were born at the dawn of the internet age, with parents who “just didn’t get computers” – and programming a VCR is a different matter altogether. We have come a long way since then. Unlike fairy tales, nursery rhymes and games that are passed from generation to generation, we are pretty much on our own when it comes to raising our own children in the digital world. Thankfully, we gained a lot of Game-and-Watch, PacMan and Atari experience to get us started. Kidigit.com is our attempt to make sense of the cyber-world, where fun and educational content, and disturbing and violent content, are both a click away from our children.
Besides giving you a daily dosage of “digital parenting” information, one of our main goals is to dissect, classify, categorize, review and share online and offline games and other media according to content and the lessons they teach. Please take a look at our Tags section to see what we mean. We hope that Kidigit.com will make your job (parenting is a full-time job, right) a bit more easier and fun.
If you like Kidigit.com, do take out some time to help us in our quest by subscribing to our RSS feed, linking to us, blogging about us and spreading the word on StumbleUpon, Digg and the Web2.0. We would also love to hear from you if you want to share your story, want us to review a game, website or book, have a suggestion for improvement, or just want to say hello.
