Kids Puzzle Game – Ostrich Underground

Ostrich Underground
Ok, we lied. Ostrich Underground isn’t exactly a kids game – it gets a bit too tough for tween after the first few stages. The reason we are sharing the game with you despite its complexity is the fun you may have watching your kid play the first few levels. As they slowly get to grips with the rules and learn to plan ahead, it might be the ideal time to introduce them to the terms ’strategy’ and ‘look-ahead’.
In Ostrich Underground, you are a ‘crazed ostrich with a fetish for eggs’ (and a very very long neck). Your objective is to collect all the underground eggs in one continuous line and then get your head to the exit. The tricky part is not crossing your neck at any point or blocking your head into a corner! There are magical teleportation holes on some levels. Enter one hole and exit at another point (same colored hole). Look out for moles. You can eat them, but try to avoid getting bitten on the neck by them, unless of course, you like seeing the game over screen.
The game is played by the arrow keys. You can play the game on the next page, but before you do that, turn down your volume a bit – there is no option to turn the (rather loud) music off.
