More or Less

Estimating the relative sizes of object groups without actually counting them is one of the many skills that a child should learn as soon as possible. The concept of more vs. less will help your kid throughout his or her life, whether she has to  quickly choose between bags of candies or he has to decide whether his horde of orcs can beat the other guy’s night-elf party, quickly estimating the relative size of groups can be the difference between life and death (of video-game characters of course)!, which is why we like the game  MoreOrLess.

MoreOrLess takes a couple of minutes to play and has 10 levels, each of which simply asks the player to click the group with the LEAST or the MOST objects. Each subsequent level has a larger number of groups and group sizes, and your child will quickly learn to compare sizes at a glance rather than counting them one by one. A wrong choice results in a horrible sounding buzzer, while the right choice adds to the score – and faster reflexes mean higher scores – score that you can save in the online highscore list. Play MoreOrLess below:

Gameplay: Click the largers or smallest group with mouse.
